Highly motivated undergraduate students with an interest in sustainable agriculture and food systems are encouraged to apply to the CEFS 2021 ASPIRE Program, which is a 10-week (May 24 – July 30, 2021) paid internship program where students will have access to diverse research, education, extension and professional development opportunities focused on sustainable agriculture and food systems.Members of demographic groups that are underrepresented in the sciences are especially encouraged to apply, and at least four spots will be reserved for Native American students from NC.

Participants receive a $4,000 stipend, apartment-style housing on the NC State campus, and the opportunity for post-summer travel to a scientific meeting.
